Carla tejas G.
Co-Founder of Apex Legacy has dedicated her career to empowering athletes through mental performance coaching and elite soccer training. With over 8 years of college coaching experience, Carla has worked with NCAA and NAIA programs, earning honors such as RRAC Coach of The Year and All-Louisiana Coac of The Year while leading teams to regular-season titles, a conference championship, and a national qualification.
A former player for the Chilean National Team, Carla represented Chile in the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Trinidad and Tobago, an experience that shaped her passion for athlete development. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology, specializing in Mental Performance, blending her expertise in coaching and sports psychology to help athletes achieve peak performance.
As the founder of Apex Legacy, Carla provides personalized mental toughness training, college path consulting, and soccer development programs, inspiring athletes to excel on the field and beyond.
Kaylee overmyer
Kaylee Overmyer, co-founder of Apex Legacy, is a dedicated mental performance coach and former NCAA Division II athlete with a passion for empowering athletes to reach their full potential. With experience coaching at the college level and working extensively with youth athletes, Kaylee has honed her ability to guide individuals through the mental and physical demands of competitive sports.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a master’s degree in Exercise Science, where her research focused on sport psychology and currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology with a specialization in Mental Performance.
Kaylee combines academic expertise with firsthand athletic experience to help athletes build resilience, improve focus, and achieve their goals. Her commitment to mental toughness and holistic athlete development perfectly aligns with Apex Legacy's mission to inspire success on and off the field.
